IBM Global Consulting Services now uses and recommends PVW with its Line of Visibility Enterprise Modeling (LOVEM) methodology for business process renewal. PVW’s intuitive models and graphical interface make it an ideal tool to support LOVEM, which is based on the popular "swim-lane" technique for creating business models. PVW’s repository makes it superior to simple drawing tools when addressing complex or dynamic business scenarios. IBM now incorporates PVW in its LOVEM training, and. PVW V3 has been enhanced with new features to support IBM.

The IBM Consulting Group has provided significant input to the design of PVW 3.0 through recommendations and guidance from Al Brown, a principal in IBM Workflow Management Consulting. He stated "ProVision Workbenchä has first-rate drawing and analysis features. Its structure and overall design has been well thought out. As a support tool for consultants, it can be readily customized to support many process design techniques and methodologies, including IBM’s Line of Visibility Enterprise Modeling (LOVEMTM).
