About LISCOT Software...

LISCOT Software works with Proforma Corporation to bring business and information technology together... from concept to code.  With today's competitive business environment and rapidly changing information technologies, this is essential.

Today's business systems do not simply support the business, they are the business.  We assist business process owners -- in collaboration with information technology specialists -- to define, develop, manage, and evolve business systems to accommodate constantly changing business processes.  We integrate business process (re)engineering techniques with client/server and OO design and development to automate (re)engineered business processes.  The tools that enable this integration are found in our business process and object modeling tool ProVision Workbench and our methodology ProGuide.  ProVision Workbench is a software tool for gathering and documenting business processes and requirements prior to application development or software package selection.

In August 1999, LISCOT Software took over as Canadian distributor for ProVision Workbench from NewVenture Technologies.  The transition was transparent since almost all of the people previously with NewVenture are now part of LISCOT.

At present, LISCOT is primarily a marketing company, distributing ProVision Software in Canada and leaning heavily on Proforma and the Proforma consulting staff for providing the actual training, and consulting assistance connected with ProVision Workbench.
